2015 marks the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War, the establishment the University Maine (from which we have consecutive 3 generations of graduates in agriculture) and of course Boothby's Orchard and Farm!
Although, through marriage, our agricultural stake in this property pre-dates this anniversary, the first deeded property, now The Guesthouse, was purchased by Bradford Boothby in 1865.
Please plan on kicking off our sesquicentennial celebration on Maine Maple Sunday, March 22nd from 10:00 - 2:00. Visit our small scale syrup operation, enjoy cider samples and taste syrup over ice cream. For $5/person or $20/family join us for a cup of Boothby's Famous Baked Beans or Corn Chowder with homemade biscuits/cornbread. Wine samples $5.00. Honey Crisp apples, cider, syrup and wine for sale. Bring snowshoes and sleds, weather permitting.
